What should I do if I see the message "‍Clear existing pairing data"‍?

If you see "‍Clear existing pairing data"‍ while setting up your glasses, do the following:

  1. If you're wearing the glasses, take them off.
  2. Press the capture button on the right temple five times in quick succession. The status LED will briefly flash alternating white and pink, change to pulsing white, and then flash white rapidly.
    Note:
    • The status LED will take around 30 seconds to change from flashing alternating white and pink to flashing white. While this is happening, please don't press any buttons on the glasses.
    • If the status LED is not flashing white, try pressing the capture button five times within three seconds.
  3. Open the Bluetooth settings menu on your phone.
  4. Find VIVE Eagle on the list of paired devices and then forget the device.
  5. Close the VIVE Connect app and relaunch it.
  6. Set up your glasses. See Setting up your glasses for the first time.
    Note: Please make sure the status LED on the glasses is flashing white before setting up the glasses.
