Appendix
Updating the VIVE Eagle firmware through VIVE Connect
Use
VIVE Connect to check for system updates and install them on your glasses.
Important: Before starting, ensure the following:
- Your phone is connected to the internet and has Bluetooth turned on.
- You phone and VIVE Eagle have at least 20% battery life.
- Your phone is not connected to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

Connect your
VIVE Eagle to
VIVE Connect.

Tap
> Glasses.
Note: If an update is available, a red badge appears beside Update. -
Tap
Update > Download update.
Note: VIVE Connect downloads the firmware update and asks you to connect to the VIVE Eagle Wi-Fi. You need to connect to this hotspot to send the update to your glasses.

Tap
Allow > Join.
VIVE Connect installs the update and notifies you when it's done.
- Tap OK.
