Accessing your Friends list

Invite your friends to VIVERSE and add them to your Friends list.

To open the Friends list, open the VIVERSE Menu and select Friends .

You'll see the following buttons in the upper left of the Friends window:

Button	Description
	Search: Allows you to search for and add VIVERSE friends. See Adding friends.
	Friends: Displays the list of VIVERSE friends you've added to the Friends list.
	Chat: Displays ongoing chats with friends. See Chatting with friends.
	Pending requests: Displays friend requests you've received and sent. See Handling pending requests.

Adding friends

Here's how to add a friend to your Friends list:

Select Search in the upper left of the Friends window and then enter a friend's display name or user ID in the search box.
Tip: Matching results will appear after entering the first three characters of a display name or user ID.
Select the friend you want to add to your Friends list and then select Add friend.

A friend request will be sent. When the request has been accepted, your friend will be added to the Friends list. To add another friend, select .

Tip: To remove a friend from the Friends list, select the friend you want to remove and then select

> Unfriend.

Handling pending requests

Here's how to view pending requests and choose what to do with received and sent requests:

Select Pending requests in the upper left of the Friends window. Received and sent friend requests will be displayed.
Do any of the following:
- Accept or decline a friend request: Under Friend requests, hover the beam over a friend and then select Accept or Decline .
- Cancel a sent request: Under Sent requests, hover the beam over a friend and then select Cancel .

Chatting with friends

Here's how to start a chat with one or more friends.

Tip: By default, messages will be sent after you select the Enter key on the keyboard. To send messages using the Send button, select

in the lower right and then select Click to send.

To chat with a friend, do the following:
1. Select Chat in the upper left of the Friends window.
2. Select a friend you want to chat with and then select Chat .
3. Use the panel on the right to send and view chat messages.
To chat with several friends, do the following:
1. Select Chat in the upper left of the Friends window.
2. Select , select the friends you want to add to the chat, and then select Next.
3. Enter a chat name and then select Next.
4. Select the chat you've just created and start entering your messages. Use the panel on the right to send and view chat messages.
  Tip: To leave the chat, select > Leave group.

Inviting friends to your VIVERSE home space

You can invite friends to your VIVERSE home space to talk face to face in VR and do fun things together like watch videos, take pictures, and more.

Tip:

You can only send one invitation at a time.
The home space has a maximum capacity of 10 users (including yourself).

Here's how to invite a friend to your home space:

Select Friends in the upper left of the Friends window.
Select a friend you want to invite and then select Invite . An invitation will be sent.

When friends receive and accept your invitation, they will enter your home space.

Note: Your friends will not receive the invitation in the following situations:

They're viewing a tutorial in their home space.
They're using Private Talk.
They're in idle status.

Visiting a friend's VIVERSE home space

You can request to visit a friend's VIVERSE home space. Here's how:

Select Friends in the upper left of the Friends window.
Select a friend you want to visit and then select Visit . A request will be sent.
After your friend accepts the request, you'll enter their home space.

Viewing and removing home space visitors

You can view the list of visitors in your VIVERSE home space and remove them if needed. You can also check who's visiting a friend's home space that you're also visiting.

Open the VIVERSE Menu and select Space management.

The home space owner and list of visitors will be displayed.

If you're the home space owner, you can remove all visitors from your home space by selecting .
