Setting a device passcode
You can set a device passcode to protect your headset from unauthorized access. Your headset prompts you to enter the passcode when you do one of the following:
- Restart the headset.
- Turn on the headset when the power is off.
- Put the headset back on and wake it up from sleep mode.
Tip: You can adjust sleep mode settings in Settings > Advanced.
Here's how to set your device passcode:
- In the headset, go to Settings > Advanced > Security settings.
- Select Set next to Device lock.
- Enter a four to eight-digit passcode.
- Enter the passcode again to confirm it.
Tip: To disable the passcode, select Disable next to Device lock.
