Taking photos
There are two ways to take photos using your
VIVE Eagle.
Important: To protect the privacy of those around you, you won't be able to take photos if the capture LED is covered or if the glasses are not worn. The capture LED is a built-in privacy feature designed to let others know when you're using the glasses to take photos.
-
Voice command: Say the wake word, and then "Take a photo".
For a more comprehensive list of voice commands, see Recommended voice commands.
- Capture button: Press the capture button on the right temple.
For details on how to import and access your photos, see Managing media.
Tip:
- If you take indoor photos, we recommend turning on
Automatic for flicker reduction. In
VIVE Connect, tap
> General > Advanced > Flicker reduction to help prevent flicker. Alternatively, if you know the power frequency used in your region, you can select it manually.
- You can also have
VIVE AI warn you if the photo you just took might be blurry due to glasses movement. In
VIVE Connect, tap
> Media and then turn on
Glasses movement warning.
Your glasses need to be connected to VIVE Connect to see the Advanced and Media settings. See Connecting your glasses.
