Setting the AI button behavior
You can set the functions you want the AI button to perform when you press it once or twice.

Press twice, and then select an option.
Button behavior Description Wake VIVE AI Use the AI button to wake up VIVE AI. Custom VIVE AI performs a custom action you've created. For details, see Creating custom actions. Latest news VIVE AI provides a summary of the latest news relevant to your region. Recipes VIVE AI provides recipe suggestions based on the ingredients you're looking at. Landmarks VIVE AI identifies and provides more information on the landmark or structure you're looking at. Restaurant review VIVE AI identifies the restaurant you're looking at and provides its latest star rating and review. Visual translation VIVE AI reads out a translated summary of the text you're looking at. For details, see Setting the VIVE AI language. Artwork VIVE AI identifies and provides more information on the artwork you're looking at. Animals VIVE AI identifies and provides more information on the animal or insect you're looking at. Plants VIVE AI identifies and provides more information on the plant, flower, or fruit you're looking at. Scene VIVE AI describes and gives you key details about the scene you're looking at. Read out loud VIVE AI reads out the text you're looking at. The text needs to be the same as the VIVE AI language. For details, see Setting the VIVE AI language. Wake phone assistant Activates your phone assistant (not VIVE AI).
Creating custom actions
Create a custom action that you want
VIVE AI to perform and assign it to the AI button for quick access.

Connect your
VIVE Eagle to
VIVE Connect.

Custom.

New action screen, enter a
Name for your custom action and what you want
VIVE AI to do in
Action.
Note: If you already have existing custom actions, tap + in the upper right to create a new one.
- Tap Save.
Tip:
- If you have more than one custom action, tap
to go to the
Custom actions screen to select the custom action you want to use.

- In the Custom actions screen, tap View details under a custom action to edit or delete it.
