Why am I getting a Wi-Fi error when trying to import media to my Android phone?

Some Android phone models are limited and fail to sync connectivity and permission settings during the initial setup process. To prevent this error, make sure to turn on the necessary settings and permissions on your Android phone.
  1. Turn on your location service settings.
    1. Go to Settings > Location > Location services.
    2. Turn on the following:
      • Location Accuracy
      • Wi-Fi scanning
      • Bluetooth scanning
    Important: If any of these settings are already turned on, then make sure to turn them off and then on again.
  2. Turn on app permissions for VIVE Connect.
    1. Go to Settings > Location > App location permissions.
    2. Tap VIVE Connect.
    3. Select Allow all the time.
    Important: If Allow all the time is already selected, then make sure to select Don't allow before selecting Allow all the time again.
  3. Go to Settings > Location, and then turn Location off then on.
