Recording slow-motion videos

You can use your VIVE Eagle to record videos that support slow-motion editing. There are two ways to do this.
Important: To protect the privacy of those around you, you won't be able to record slow-motion videos if the capture LED is covered or if the glasses are not worn. The capture LED is a built-in privacy feature designed to let others know when you're using the glasses to record videos.
  • Voice command: Say the wake word, and then "‍Record in slow-mo"‍.

For a more comprehensive list of voice commands, see Recommended voice commands.

  • AI button: Press or long press the AI button.
Important: Make sure to set Slow-motion video as the AI button action. For details, see Setting the AI button behavior.

To stop an ongoing recording, press the capture button or say the wake word followed by "‍Stop recording"‍. If your video reaches one minute, recording will stop automatically.

Slow-motion videos are saved on your glasses. You can import them anytime to your VIVE Connect gallery. For details, see Importing media from your glasses.

Once in the gallery, you can tap to view your slow-motion videos. The video duration will appear longer since the slow-motion effect is already applied. You can then save the videos to your phone and use your phone's built-in photo app to fine-tune the effect. For details, see Saving media to your phone.
