Live streaming
VIVE Eagle lets you live stream your camera feed to your linked
YouTube® or Twitch account. While streaming, camera functions, including taking photos and recording videos are turned off.
Important: To protect the privacy of those around you, you won't be able to live stream if the capture LED is covered or if the glasses are not worn. The capture LED is a built-in privacy feature designed to let others know when you're using the glasses for live streaming.
Before starting a live stream, make sure to set up your live streaming service. For details, see Adding a live streaming account.
Important: You must have at least 50 channel subscribers to be able to live stream on
YouTube.

Connect your
VIVE Eagle to
VIVE Connect.

Tap
> Live streaming.
- Select a service.

Edit the live stream settings.
The available settings depend on the platform you're using.
Setting Description Title Set a name for your stream. Description Add a description. Privacy Set the privacy settings to limit who can view your stream. Announcement settings These settings let you get notified every time viewers interact with your stream.
- Announce tips: Choose to get notified when you receive All tips or High-value tips only.
- Announce viewer count: Get notified when you reach certain viewer count milestones.
- Announce positive reactions: Get notified when you receive positive reactions.
These settings are only available to VIVE AI Pro subscribers.
Category Set the YouTube live stream category. Audience Set the YouTube audience age restriction. Content classification labels Set the Twitch content classification label. -
Tap
Go live.
Tip:
- Keep VIVE Connect in the foreground for the best streaming quality.
- You can tap your user avatar on the upper left to watch your live stream from your selected service.

Control the stream.
Option Description Switch the camera Tap any of the buttons to switch the camera you're using for your stream.
